The PRO-III Ultimate is designed to remove a wide array of water impurities (chlorine, toxins, heavy metals, etc) and to also remove any unpleasant tastes or odour issues which may be present in your water supply. The Pro-III consists of three filters and housing bowls. The housing bowls are all separate to enable greater flexibility for installation (i.e. in an L shape to be placed into corners, etc).
This system comes with 3 separate housings and 3 filters. The filter configuration is as follows:
Housing 1
4.5 x 10 Inch Black Line Housing with Active Ceramics Whole House Filter. This filter is replaced every 3 years or 300,000 litres and is highly effective at the removal or reduction of a vast array of impurities in water including chlorine, hormones, fluoride, lead and so on. This filter is also highly advanced and effective at killing and containing bacteria in water such as E-coli, Pseudomonas and other microorganisms. The filter uses a unique filtration method using a patented active ceramics blend, so it has 4 different active ceramics which treat the water in a different way and is completely unique. Not only that but the filter adds antioxidants and minerals back into the water after filtering and additionally makes water more alkaline by raising the pH value, usually increasing the pH to around 0.5 a point or more (however this could be more or less depending on a number of specific variables including the presence of certain dissolved solids and gases).
Housing 2
4.5 x 10 Inch Black Line Housing with Carbon Block 5 Micron. This filter further reduces chlorine and nay taste and odour issues that may be present in the mains tap water. The carbon block also reduces certain Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC) from drinking water. The coconut base of the carbon also makes a slightly sweeter taste which is pleasant. The carbon block has a very high dirt holding capacity with virtually zero pressure drop. The filter is rated for 46,000 litres so is usually changed every 6 months.
Housing 3
4.5 x 10 Inch Black Line Housing with GAC and KDF Process Media Filter Cartridge. This cartridge primarily reduces the bad taste and odours of chlorine and other chemicals in the water. This filter contains Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) and Kinetic Degradation Fluxion (KDF). When these 2 are combined, they are known to kill algae and fungi, control bacteria growth and remove chlorine, pesticides, organic matter, rust, unpleasant taste and odour, hydrogen sulphide, iron, lead, nickel, chromium, cadmium, calcium, mercury and other organic compounds. The filter is ideal for situations where you need a higher flow rate or have very low water pressure problems.
The system also comes supplied with the brackets with screws and large housing spanner.
At the end of the life of the main active ceramics cartridge, you can take out the ceramics and use it to fertilize your garden to improve the health of plants or grass and soil drainage. The plastic housing can be put through your normal recycling waste. Active Ceramic and Post Carbon Filter are both NSF certified.

- High Quality Virgin Polypropylene, thick, heavy weight and robust. Avoid light, thinner and mixed with calcite housings as these do not stand the test of time.
- Brass threaded 1" BSP Female Ports make reliable plumbing connections, unlike plastic threaded poirts which easily crossthyread when connected to brass male fittings.
- Integrated Pressure Release Buttons to release air pressure.
- Drink filtered water from any tap throughout the house.
- Unit will remove or reduce chlorine, toxins, heavy metals, hormones and fluoride. Effective at killing and containing bacteria in water such as E-coli, Pseudomonas etc.
- De-chlorinated water which is less aggressive on skin and hair in the shower.
- Produces pH enhanced water with minerals and increased alkalinity. Increases anti-oxidants in the water too.
- No ongoing maintenance or need to backwash system. Merely replace cartridge at end of life at low cost.
