Description
This is the top of the range installed inline system for an existing cold tap. It uses a 0.2 micron ceramic filter and a limescale and heavy metal filter to achieve a thorough reduction of bacteria, chlorine, heavy metals and more. It reduces pressure and flow rate of your water to tap, so it is not recommended if you have very poor flow/low pressure. Slower flow means better water so it is good to live with that!
The Osmio EZFITPRO-300 Water Filter System is a ideal water filter system for installing under the kitchen sink. The system has no need for a separate tap as it will filter all the water coming from your existing kitchen tap. This is because the Osmio EZFITPRO-300 System uses 15mm push fittings for the 1/2" BSP female inlet and outlet. This means your 15 mm copper or plastic pipe can simply be pushed into the unit and released with ease.
The Osmio EZFITPRO-300 therefore makes a perfect solution for an easy installation as it can be fitted in less than 15 minutes. The system is perfect if you have a solid kitchen worktop (marble, granite, stone, wood etc.) and do not want to have a separate tap in place. There is an option to have this exact system with a separate tap and fitting kit if you would prefer to have this option, as many people which children or very elderly persons do often prefer a separate tap.
There are two filters in the system, which both serve a different purpose with the ultimate result being purified, clean, healthy and great tasting water for all your drinking, cooking, washing and cleaning needs.

The Coldstream CF108W is a high performing ceramic cartridge for reduction chlorine, heavy metals and bacteria and cysts, making it the most powerful ceramic cartridge currently on the market. This filter can be a direct replacement for any 2.5 x 10 Inch cartridge and comes with rubber washer rings to ensure it will fit any housing.

Filter 2: The Osmio GAC & De-Alk Resin Cartridge - changed approx every 3-6 months (dependent on hardness)
- Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) – for chlorine, taste and odour reduction
- De-alk resin – for temporary hardness and heavy metal reduction
The Osmio 2.5 x 10 GAC & De-Alk Filter incorporates granular activated carbon (GAC) which is combined with De-alk resin. The filter is effective against chlorine, taste and odour, heavy metals e.g. lead, and will also tackle hard water, which is seen as limescale in kettles and as an unsightly scum on the surface of hot drinks. Water hardness varies greatly depending upon location, so the filter will need to be replaced at 3 - 6 monthly intervals or longer all of which entirely depends on the hardness of your water and the amount you use.

Recycling and disposing of these filters
The Coldstream filter: this filter would need to have the ceramic smashed and the media inside thrown in the rubbish bin. The plastic ends can then be recycled.
The Limescale & Chlorine filter: the ends will need to be unscrewed the empty the media inside into the bin. The plastic components can then be recycled.
