The Ultimate Pumpkin Spice Latte

The Ultimate Pumpkin Spice Latte

Posted by Marie-Eve on 12th Sep 2023

Autumn is the beginning of dark evenings giving us an excuse to curl up on the sofa in front of the TV. Of course it also brings the colder weather meaning a pumpkin spice latte is a must.

This is our version and you can make from home, minus added sugar but with all the flavour and kick you need!

What I do want though is the sweetness and spices you get from a pumpkin spice latte without the sugar and also with the added benefits of a bulletproof coffee (coffee + butter + MCTs)*

Bulletproof Pumpkin Spice Latte (Keto Friendly)

300ml freshly brewed very hot coffee
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1 tablespoon MCT Oil
2 scoops Collagen
1-2 teaspoons vanilla extra
1 teaspoon Pumpkin Spice Mix
How to? Add everything to your blender
and mix until frothy.

And at a glance, what is a Bulletproof Coffee (and why we've been hooked for ages... )*

The mix of high-quality coffee with fats (MCT & unsalted butter) help to...

  • increase your focus
  • banish hunger
  • give you that energy you need
  • and more!

But not just any coffee... Bulletproof uses a blend of coffee beans that don’t contain any mold toxins that might impair your immune system. Moldy coffee also gives you the jitters and increases brain fog.

Same goes for the butter... grass-fed butter over regular butter for a higher amount of healthy fats and fat-soluble vitamins.

MCT Oil... Brain Octane raises fat-burning, brain-boosting molecules in your system called ketones. And Bulletproof explains how:

"Adding Brain Octane Oil to your coffee is where the real magic happens. Brain Octane raises fat-burning, brain-boosting molecules in your system called ketones. Your body then uses these ketones for energy rather than glucose from carbs. Burning ketones in place of glucose boosts weight loss and reduces inflammation."

and did you know... you can blend up just about any beverage with these powerhouse ingredients to get similar benefits. Try matcha, hot chocolate, or turmeric (with a dash of black pepper) for variety.
