Coconut Nectar is a sweet, unrefined syrup made from pure coconut sap, which is bursting with coconutty goodness. The sap is collected from the inflorescence of the tree and gently heated under low temperatures to produce a syrupy nectar with a distinctive sweet caramel flavour. It's a great little substitute to processed syrups, honeys and sauces. It is also low in fructose (unlike our naughty friend Agave).

How to use Coconut Nectar? Use as a natural sweetener. Use it as you’d use honey. Drizzle over desserts, porridge, in drinks or cakes.
It has been noted to have a low GI (Glycemic Index) of approximately 35, compared with other processed syrups which typically have a GI over 65. It’s also 100% Vegan, unlike honey.
Storage instructions: Store at room temperature in a dry place. Coconut Nectar is a natural product and may crystallise over time.
