Quick and simple sweet morning smoothie

I usually go for green smoothies but this one hit the spot perfectly. Full of fruits, healthy fats and protein. Because this smoothies does not contains greens and is mostly made of fruits, I only have it as a treat.

Planet Paleo Pure Collagen contains 100% highly absorbable collagen peptides. Production of collagen from the body starts to decline around the age of 40 which impacts on the integrity of the skin, formation of lines and wrinkles as well as weakening of cartilage in the joints and degradation of bone tissue.

This is a perfect for breakfast on the go but should you want to make it more substantial add a handful of spinach or frozen courgettes.

Makes 1 large smoothie
1 very ripe banana
Large handful of frozen strawberries *
1/2 large avocado
2 tablespoons Enerhealth Coconut Milk Powder
1-2 cups of water
1 scoop Planet Paleo Collagen Protein

Put all of the ingredients in your blender and whizz until smooth and creamy. Start with one cup of water and add more water if needed.

* Buy them in season, organic and freeze them. They keep for longer and are perfect for smoothie, cakes and bakes.

    How can you keep your half of avocada from going brown also do you wash your strawberry before putting them in the freezer,being on town mean a lot of waste, Colette

      Hello Colette

      I usually put a bit of oil on the cut side of the avocado and that helps it from going brown.

      Yes, I always wash them (i.e the berries), let them dry and the freeze them flat in a bag... no waste here :)
