There's alot of supplements out there and many are not needed as long as you eat a varied and nutritiously rich diet and that's what we encourage at Evolution Organics. We want you to eat well and supplement your diet when needed. But nowadays our food travels further, soil quality is sometimes sub level, we're subjected to increased daily pollution and more stress and all these factors are when supplements are needed and incredibly beneficial. On top of this, there are some vitamin and minerals that can't be consumed in adequate amount from our food.

One of these nutrients is Vitamin D. Vitamin D is incredibly important to overall health.  It can be found in some food but overall, it's a supplement I would thoroughly encourage everyone to take especially as we live in a partly shady country (you get Vitamin D mostly from the sun). Both me and my husband take it and we also give it to our 2 year old and have done since I stopped breastfeeding (she takes BetterYou DLux Infant Vitamin D Spray).

The Vitamin D I take is from Garden of Life  and to start, the company is brilliant, really is. They are all completely natural, vegan and mostly USDA organic. I was very excited when Evolution Organics started to sell their Vitamin D and as I prefer sprays to tablets, I jumped at the chance to try it. Vitamin D is a oil soluble vitamin and Garden of Life mykind Organics Vegan Vitamin D3 Spray has an organic pumpkin and cranberry seed oil base, is made from all organic whole food ingredients, delivers 1000IU* per spray and to top it off it also contains health beneficial omegas too!

It tastes (at lost of a better word) lush. A bit like sweet vanilla cake batter.

What's not to like?
  • Whole food vitamin D3 formula
  • Helps to support calcium absorption for healthy bone
  • Certified USDA Organic
  • Non-GMO Project Verified
  • Both Vegan & Vegetarian

If you want (and I recommend you do) to ensure you are taking enough Vitamin D, I recommend you take a look at Garden of Life mykind Organics Vegan Vitamin D3 Spray and I hope you like it just as much as I do.

* I have always been drawn to taking 5000IU of Vitamin D a day so I take 5 sprays daily and in the summer and spring, I take 3000IU (3 sprays)... this is me however, each to their own.
