The Pristine Protocol should be done morning and night, however the tooth polish only once a day to avoid over-brushing the enamel. The tooth polish can be used up to 5 days a week and will vary for everyone. Those with thin enamel may want to use this only once a week but those prone to tartar build-up may prefer to do it more often. Personally, I do this three times a week and that is perfect for me.
I have been using the Pristine Protocol for about a month, and now it is the only thing I will use. I decided to go for the peppermint flavour, for both the mouthwash and toothpaste, the taste is subtle and not over-powering as some others can be. The toothpaste is also low abrasion (Relative Dentin Abrasivity score of 12), this means you get all the benefits without damage to enamel, which is another aspect I love about the product. While it is too soon to see a major whitening effect, I will continue to use this for the simple fact it left me with a dentist-clean feeling every day!
