Matcha green tea and almond latte

This is an easy recipe for a morning (or afternoon) pick me up

Ingredients 

(makes 1 cup)

  • ½ teaspoon of Dr Mercola Organic Matcha Green Tea (powder)
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk or make your own
  • ¼ teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon of The Organic Coconut Company Organic coconut sugar

Directions

  1. Mix the matcha green tea & cinnamon with a tablespoon of hot water to form a paste (I used a bamboo whisk) Make sure that there are no lumps left
  2. Heat the almond drink and add the vanilla, coconut sugar & the matcha mixture. 
  3. Use a whisk (or hand held blender) to froth the mixture, pour into your favourite cup and enjoy!
