Energizing almond mylk, cocoa & maca drink

As you know, I am a tad obsessed with my homemade almond milk… I have been using almond milk in muesli bircher, matcha & almond latte and I’ve also been adding it to my smoothies.

I also love chocolate and wanted to combine the two (almond milk and gorgeous chocolate) to make a tasty drink that wasn’t as heavy as a smoothie so I came up with this "milkshake".

Instead of using plain chocolate powder, I added Enerhealth Organic Cocoa Mojo - a chocolate powder with a difference. Cocoa Mojo is a chocolate powder with added additional immune and performance herbs. It contains South American cocoa and amazing mushrooms to make it a one-of-a-kind superfood product. Not only this but Cocoa Mojo contains low GI coconut sugar, is made from 100% organic ingredients and contains mushrooms extract for added energy & immunity. Wow!

And of course… Maca. I recently rediscovered this amazing nutrient rich superfood. Grown in the mineral rich soil of the Andean mountains, maca root is an energising and stimulating Peruvian miracle herb that contributes towards reduction of tiredness and fatigue, increases energy and maintains muscle function.

Ingredients (makes 1 serving)
1 ½ cup of almond milk (or even better, make your own)
½ cup of water
1-2 tablespoon maca powder (start with 1 teaspoon if you are new to maca)
2 tablespoon Organic Enerhealth Cocoa Mojo
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of Himalayan salt

Directions: Mix all of the ingredients in a blender. You can also add ice cubes for a frothy milkshake.
